The short version
NPI Central displays public federal NPPES data. We do not require an account, and we do not sell personal information. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage.
Information we collect
- Usage analytics. We collect aggregate, de-identified usage data (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) to improve the product.
- Search queries. Searches may be logged in aggregate to improve relevance. We do not build advertising profiles.
- No accounts. The public site has no login, so we do not store passwords or personal account data.
Provider data
Provider information shown on NPI Central comes from the public NPPES registry published by CMS. It is public-domain government data. If you are a provider and want your information corrected, update it in NPPES — changes flow here on the next refresh.
Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to operate the site and run privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
